The new Bulgari high jewelery collection is Magnifica

Bulgari is synonymous with high craftsmanship and color, love for Rome, for Italy and for beauty. Put the ingredients together and a high jewelery collection will be born. As the name implies, Magnifica. We return to beauty to react: between precious stones and unique workmanship. The haute joaillerie becomes a message of optimism and hope, as well as a tribute to the beauty of our country. 

The stones

The high jewelery of the Italian maison is produced in Rome, made entirely by hand with stones found all over the world and then subjected to the gaze and analysis of Lucia Silvestri, creative director of Bulgari . Each year is a surprise, a theme, a “wow”! This time, it must be said, it was a spectacle above expectations both in terms of quality and uniqueness of the stones and for creativity: starting from the sketches, real works of art were created.

The selection of precious stones for Bulgari's Magnifica collection amazed even those accustomed to the splendor of the Haute Joaillerie collections. Here there are in fact truly unique pieces: such as the Hypnotic Emerald,  an amazing necklace where the Serpent, icon of the Brand, gracefully guards in its jaws an exceptional Colombian cabochon-cut emerald of 93.83 carats, a masterpiece of craftsmanship that required 1,800 work hours. Five wonderful oval cushion-cut Paraiba tourmalines, weighing a total of about 500 carats, adorn the Mediterranean Queen necklace and a priceless spinel because the fourth largest in the world is placed as the centerpiece of theImperial Spinel (pictured), so to speak two others are in the crown of Queen Elizabeth.

The short that celebrates Magnifica

On the notes of the Hymn to Joy sung by Andrea Bocelli, the Magnifica collection parades in the unique setting of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan. On the catwalk the most famous tops in the world: Lily Aldridge, Vittoria Ceretti, He Cong, Blesnya Minher and Solange Smith. The video is a game of suggestions and reality, the models for the occasion wear the most important creations of the magnificent collection such as the Mediterranean Queen and Imperial Spinel collier.
